Description
1977 Ducati 860 GTS . I have owned this bike for the past 13 years V5c in my name . The bike is not 100% standard having been converted to Honda handlebar switches , and a non standard paint job , plus lots of stainless nuts & bolts and silencers (Conti rep's) The bike was onced owned by Paul Klathiewicz of DTS (Ducati Technical Sevices) and was subject to one of his engine rebuilds 6863 mil's ago . This bike runs like a Swiss watch , no smoke or unusual noises , it charges and everything works as it should . Fitted with both Kick and Electric start , flat bars and a very comfy riding position the GTS (Grand Tourer Sport) is exactly that and a nice alternative to say a Bonnie or a Commando . I bought this GTS to add to my then Ducati collection , the DTS engine is as sweet as they come , and you can't beat that Conti exhaust sound of a bevel .
