Selling my 1973 Mk1/ 2 Triumph Stag built on the change over year so benefits from the slightly thicker steel body panels . The Car is in excellent condition with no rust and just the odd very small blemish in the paintwork if you look really closely.
Bodywork and underneath are solid with no rust, underside and cavities have been waxed with Dinitrol, topped up regularly when required.
Interior is excellent, front seats have been refurbished just before my ownership along with the door cards and luxury fitted carpets. The Hood and hardtop are both in very good condition.
The windscreen was renewed 3000 miles age.
The engine and gearbox were rebuilt by the previous owner, Approximately 8000mile ago.
All internal dash and courtesy lights have been changed to LEDs. As to have the numberplate lights, sidelights and indicators.
The boot is in perfect condition with new carpet and boot boards.
The Stag comes with its new but original black and silver registration plates, also a brand-new spare of euro compliant registration plates in black-and-white.
The suspension has been fully polybushed, shock absorbers and springs have been replaced, ball joints, track rod ends, the diff extension strengthened, CV joint drive shafts also fitted. I have just fitted brand-new stainless steel bumpers and overrider to front and rear as the previous ones were showing a little too much patina for my liking!
All wheels and tyres are in very good condition.
Battery isolator cut off switch fitted to battery.
The rear brake shoes and drums have just been replaced prior to passing its MOT in April this year.
The car has just been fully serviced in all respects, including carburettor rebuild with new jets and gaskets. Oil changes to engine, gearbox and differential. New overdrive gearlever switch fitted last month. New prop shaft UJ is fitted this month. The car is fitted with a full stainless steel exhaust system from front to back. The engine bay is very clean and tidy with no wiring issues. recently fitted a new alternator. Fuel pressure gauge and E15 compatible fuel hoses. Wiper motor refurbished.
Brand new luminition electronic ignition fitted May 2025.
New Bluetooth radio and aerial fitted, new seatbelts fitted, and the car comes with newly fitted central locking with two key fobs. It also has the original full set of keys, plus a second freshly cut set.
The car is best appreciated Up close, it runs as it should do and is returning close to 30 miles to the gallon.
MOT expires April 2026.
