MG Roadster 1978 Red Chrome Bumper Conversion. Tax and MOT exempt. In very good condition all round. The paint work polishes up well and the bright work is very good.
There are some small rust spots here and there. The new owner might wish to replace the will hood as it has a number of tears and does not look nearly good as the rest of the car. The hood, otherwise, functions as it should.
It had new tyres all round, alternator, battery, hoses, ignition barrel (two keys) in the last few years. Most notably, it had two new carburettors last year. The car starts, runs and stops superbly. It idles perfectly, gear changes are slick and the over drive works as it left the factory.
This is a family owned MG which we’ve enjoyed for over 10 years. This MG has been used regularly up until the last few years, hence selling. We have taken it all over the country and Europe with no issues.
In our ownership, all work has been undertaken by Robin Lackford Engineering of Sussex. In our opinion, one of the best classic car garages in the county.
