Description
Quite a rare bike now, plenty of basket cases sure, but not many as nice as this one.
Originally supplied by Cope's of Hagley road , Birmingham, original name plate still in good order and attached to the rear fender as per the day.
I have had the bike 7 years and really enjoyed riding and owning it.
The tank has been cleaned and lined. (new tank tap washers as I wanted to retain the original push pull taps)
tyres are new, rims and spokes also quite recent.
There are nice fasteners/ bolts all over the bike.
Just fitted a new neoprene chain case gasket which actually does a wonderful job of keeping the normal oil drips at bay.
In fact very little leakage if any on this bike,
It has a shut off valve fitted to the oil feed pipe to stop wet dumping when stood up.
It has a new battery, all the lights/ horn, all the wiring is nice and tidy.
Even the brakes have good stopping power.
starts first or second kick every time very very easy to start,
the mag is good and the bike is really in fine fettle, come and have a look and a test ride on my farmer friends very long tarmac drive.
V5 here and in my name of course,
perhaps the number plate is valuable but not my thing to split it up, but anyway it is transferable should that be of interest.
Feel free to fire off with any questions if interested.
Not the best photos in the world but not the worst either!
Thanks for looking at my lovely old Norton from a bygone era when we actually produced things!
