For sale is my 1972 Spitfire IV. It is a beautiful running, driving and stopping restoration project. Tax and MOT exempt. Perfect to enjoy driving for the rest of the summer. It will want working on over the winter. I would be keeping it if I had a garage, but sadly, without out one I have not been able to carry out the work I want to do to it. To my knowledge, It could do with a suspension rebuild, replacement of the rear brake pipes and some treatment of the surface rust underneath. I have not found any rust that goes through, but it needs sorting sooner rather than later. In my ownership, of approximately a year, I have completed a full service including spark plugs and cotact points. I have also replaced the engine mounts, interior and exterior drivers door handles. As with all cars of this age, the electrics can be temperamental, but they have never stopped me driving it! I adore driving this car, and I'm sure you will too. Grab a bargain while the sun is still out!
