Everyone meet “Stella” a 1980 Porsche 911 SC Targa. Finished in Metallic Blue with Navy Blue Leather..
Remember SC stands for Super Carrera…
“Stella” may be 45 years old but she can still turn heads with curves in all the right places and a beautiful rear end finished with that decorative whale tail spoiler.. and in the warm weather she likes to take her top off…. Very racy…
“Stella” has a wonderful heart the usual big flat 6 engine runs well and pulls like a train, her 5 speed gearbox is also in good condition changing well…
Several years ago “Stella” spent 4 years getting pampered (a full bear metal respray) trying to look like a 21 year old…
In around the last MOT the Speedo stopped working and the owner didn’t want to drive the car much since, Stella didn’t mind the fact her miles weren’t going up but the owner did so the car was put by… and “Stella “ was left alone in her own room (garage)
Unfortunately the paintwork has reacted in a few places the worst being on the drivers door.
“Stella” obviously can’t say, so I’m not sure if she is looking for a toy boy, an older gentleman or another lady friend but
Depending on the new owner and how fussy they are “Stella” may want to have a full respray again or just a door painted ..
“Stella” came out from hibernation two weeks ago and was treated to new discs and pads and is getting new rubber on the rear… she is driving really well. MOT and Tax free..
So ladies and gentlemen who would like to take “Stella” home?
She is priced sensibly as we know she isn’t perfect but she could be and “Stella” would like that….

Beautiful shiny paint after having a full bare metal respray but now with a few reactions the worst being the drivers door.
Passengers Electric window doesn’t work and carpets need replaced
Alloy wheels need refurbished but have come up well. It has just had 2 new tyres
Needs a rear right indicator lens (£53) and the little accordion bumper rubbers need replaced.. (I’d only do that if you were going to town on “Stella”)
Speedometer needs fixing..
This is a good description of “Stella”
She is perfect to drive as she is and is very useable but you know what people are like they would point out the door etc… an old friend of mine had a classic and if anyone pointed out an imperfection he always asked them “why what’s yours like?” They never had a model the same... if “Stella”were mine I’d paint the door and drive away.. but some of you could take “Stella” home wine and dine her and turn her into a concours model which would of course increase her worth…History… owned last 17 years by a lady who organised the full bare metal respray and during that period any necessary repairs were executed.. provided with photo graphic evidence.
Before that the car belonged to a gentleman in Templepatrick County Antrim I think he was a GP and before that I believe the car came from England.
