MG Midget Roadster 1977 1500cc
MoT may 2026 (no advisories)
Mot and Tax exempt, mots have been done every year. 48k miles backed up by mot history
Restored by a previous owner a few years ago and always garaged, the last owner replaced the rear leaf springs.
I have refitted the original bumpers and removed spot lights
MX5 leather have been removed the original seats refitted
In my ownership I have done
Recon front shock absorbers
New water pump
Carb rebuild and tune £900
Fletcher air filters
Stainless heatshield
Stainless pedal box and coil covers
New fuel sender
Gauge voltage stabiliser
Cd radio
Magnetic sump plug
Rebuilt heater tap
Various little bits and bobs to finish
Have a new (reconditioned) starter motor to go with as and when needed
The engine was rebuilt during restoration and is spot on, fires first time every time with very little turnover. Sounds awesome on acceleration
Underneath is super clean
Bodywork is lovely with just a bit of paint cracked on rear seam.
Soft top is good but not perfect.
Have really enjoyed owning and working on her and will be missed. please look after her!
Parts are plentiful and cheapWanted a fun classic to tinker with and have days out but unfortunately my partner doesn’t like it and I haven’t got the space to keep her.
Have attended a few shows and has been well received
