Description
This is a 1958 BMW Isetta 300 in good overall condition, perfectly functional and ready to drive. The car has just undergone a general mechanical service in July 2025, ensuring it runs smoothly and reliably.
This vehicle is officially registered as a "vehicle of historical interest" by the Museu do Caramulo (Caramulo Museum), one of Portugal’s most respected institutions for classic automobiles. This recognition confirms the car’s authenticity, historical value, and collector status.
The engine starts without issue, the gearbox operates properly, and the brakes and steering are all working as they should. The car presents well, with solid bodywork and a tidy interior.
It requires only a few small cosmetic details to be fully refined — ideal for a light restoration project or to enjoy as-is.

Personal Story
I bought this car out of a long-standing passion. Ever since I was young, I’ve loved the Isetta’s quirky design and historical significance. When I was living with my parents, a neighbor had one — the very same car that appeared in a movie called Lisbon Story by Wim Wenders. That image stuck with me. Years later, I had the chance to acquire this example, and it’s been a joy to own ever since. Now, with 3 children, a wife and a dog, it’s time to pass it on to someone who will enjoy it just as much.
