This is a very special car, an Abingdon VVC which was purchased fully refurbished less than 12 months ago by the MGF Centre in Wolverhampton who are regarded as one of the top specialists in the UK. They also have many European customers too.
It has a full history which has a file of its own and includes the original order on the factory and original dealer invoice. There are all the manuals and full service history and all MOT certificates.

The body was sound and required no work, the following is the work carried out for me:
Engine, subframes, exhaust system, cooling system were all removed. Rear tie bar bushes converted to poly.
The underside of the car was stripped back to metal and then a five day sealant system applied
The subframes were sand blasted back to bare metal and then treated (I have photographs taken at the time)
Refurbished suspension spheres and springs fitted along with new track rod ends, all bearings, brake pads and discs replaced, refurbished wheels and new tyres fitted and tracked.
The engine was stripped (see photos) with new valve guides and cylinder liners, upgraded Land Rover gasket set with new oil rail, new headbolts, new inlet, exhaust gaskets and cam seals. The cylinder head was skimmed and the VVC units reset. The largest throttle body was fitted along with a specialist snorkel and full breather (see photo). Full cam belt service and parts. The engine was beautifully paints and polished before being refitted.
The whole of the coolant system was replaced including stainless steel coolant pipes, thermostat and hoses.
A Scorpion exhaust system and custom roll hoops, reversing sensors, headlights and bulbs, stainless silencer shield.
A new tan roof was fitted, new speakers and an integrated audio and phone radio fitted. The clutch was replaced with a light action unit and the car comes with a matching hard top!

It drives and stops great, goes like stink, put your foot down and you can hear the air intake whoosh! Handling is superb.
