1974 MGB Roadster in British Racing Green - Overdrive
It’s had a chrome bumper conversion in the past. Originally yellow, the respray was done by a previous owner and still presents well. The overdrive works flawlessly.
Starts on the button every time and runs beautifully. The sills are solid, no major structural issues. The wheel arches would benefit from some early attention to prevent future work. There’s very slight occasional clutch judder when warm, but nothing that affects driveability.
The folding hood is usable, though the PVC rear window is sun-damaged (see last photo). It’ll need replacing in time, this is reflected in the price. Bonnet stay is missing.
I recently sold a 60’s Ford to buy this, but it’s just not for me. A bit too modern. Not a fault of the car just a preference.
Great for those sunny days with the roof down. Feels like you’re going faster than you are. Car has a lot of go.
Not looking to make a profit, just want back what I paid.
