Historic racing car derived from a 1965 Porsche 911 L first series
This car has belonged since 1968 to the same owner who, after having prepared it to the highest level (according to the specifications of Appendix J 1971), used it for many years on the circuit in competitions for historic cars, obtaining good results in Italy and Europe.
The car is equipped with the following documents: registration document and Italian plates; FIA HTP expired (FIA G2 classification period); ACI HTP valid (FIA G2 classification period); ASI certificate (Auto Moto Club Storico Italiano); FIVA identity card.
Engine: Carrera 6 type, dual ignition, new Mahle 89x66 pistons and liners, short stroke, compression 10. 6:1, displacement 2465 cc; modified Weber IDF 44 carburettors, Porsche racing 3 in 1 exhausts (diameter 40).
Transmission: 901 5 close-ratio gearbox with first reverse, aluminum engine casing, removable support for quick gearbox replacement, “Torsen” self-locking differential.
Bodywork: body reinforced by plates and welds according to Porsche specifications, roll-bar annex J, widened fenders (front in fiberglass - rear in steel), front hood in fiberglass and Kevlar, front/ rear bumper and doors in fiberglass, side windows and deflectors and rear window in plexiglass, original Porsche 85 liter tank with “Detostop” explosion-proof treatment.
Suspensions: circuit set-up on uniball, reinforced and adjustable torsion/ stabilizer bars, adjustable ORAP shock absorbers, possibility of modifying “camber” and height of the car.
Brakes: Aeroquip equipment with double pump and brake regulator, oversized and ventilated brake discs, aluminum calipers, Pagid “orange” pads.
Wheels: 8" Fuchs rims at the front with Avon 215/ 580-15" slick tires - 9" Minilite rims at the rear with Avon 240/ 600-15" slick tires.
Spare parts: large stock of racing and original components, including a longer gearbox, 18 rims with tires, shock absorbers, clutch, self-locking differential, half shafts, etc.
