Gorgeous 1995 Jaguar XJ-R 4. 0 supercharged automatic, in very good original condition and very low mileage for the year. This is a low owner early example in turquoise metallic (launch colour) with rare beige leather interior.
Very good service history, formerly owned by a Jaguar specialist. Recently had 2 new Continental front tyres, new EBC front and rear brake discs and ceramic pads. All fluids changed in the last 1, 000 miles, including automatic transmission fluid and supercharger oil. New battery. Recent Bilstein shock absorbers. Car will be sold with a 12-month MOT. Bodywork is generally excellent with no rust in arches, although there are a couple of small car park type 'dinks', and the lacquer has started peeling in a few spots (see pictures). Very minor patch of bubbling around the windscreen – price reflects this. Rear alloys have some paint flaking but generally the wheels are all very presentable.
Interior is excellent and comes with both a new black factory XJR steering wheel, and the original and mint cream and wood steering wheel which matches the interior trim. Headlining is very good. Carpets spotless and like new.
The general condition of the car is great for a low mileage Jaguar of this era, and could be made even better with some light detailing. It drives very well and packs a massive punch performance-wise. It needs running and driving regularly – something I've not been able to do recently, due to family commitments. Selling as it's a lovely toy but I have other priorities now.
