Description
For sale is my Honda Beat which I have owned for over 3 years.
The Honda Beat needs no introduction. Freshly serviced, MOT due in May 2026, all wheels refurbished and balanced, 2 keys, 2 buckets of paperwork which includes 3 folders, tons of receipts, maintenance and servicing handbooks, tonneau cover, AllWeather Pro tailored indoor/ outdoor car cover.
To complete this beautiful Kei Car's condition would be a new roof which I was quoted just over £400 delivered to the UK from Japan, including new hardware. Everything else works just fine. Reason for sale is I have 6 cars and a 2 year old. I have no room or space.
There are a few dents which I have wanted to get done, but as usual I've never had the time to get this booked in. I have garaged the car for the entirety of ownership and as I'm looking to move on I no longer have the space. Usual bonnet rust/ corrosion coming through the paint. The car was fully resprayed 4 years ago. This is an issue with all beats, the only fix is to buy a fibreglass or carbon bonnet. This Beat had Gathers optional speakers, optional pepper pot alloy wheels, front fog lights and rear spoiler selected from the brochure at the time of purchase in 1991 in Japan.
Before purchasing this Honda Beat I had looked at 5, all were much lower mileage than this but they all seemed to have had a hard life, not much history or evidence key things that needed doing had been completed. Within the last 1000km everything has been done. If you want a cheap Beat that will cause you to fork out a secondary restoration in the very near future be my guest, there's a couple for sale and have been for sale for the last few years.
As above, the vehicle was completely restored by a helicopter mechanic with the engine out, loads of evidence and receipts of proof with the history. I have followed Beat forums for the last 15 years and they do have their niggles, if you are looking you would know. The work completed to this car was the reason I went ahead and bought it. I do have other vehicles for sale so, whichever 2 sell first are what leaves my collection unfortunately.
