Description
Loss of storage and a new car forces sale. I’ve owned the car since 2009 and it was dry stored up until August 2024. Needs light recommissioning before going on road. Odometer shows 14000 miles but this is 114000. Originally Highland Purple it was repainted by a previous owner in flame red. Some imperfections and stone chips visible. Clydesdale Classics in East Kilbride did a good bit of work on the car in 2023, new brakes, pipes, clutch kit, water pump, battery, four new Hankook tyres in correct original size. Over £2500 spent. Car is on the original Dunlop wheels but I also have a set of slightly wider Wolfraces that are included. Carpets are good but dashboard is cracked around the dials. Door cards show their age a bit. The Ford Essex engine was replaced in 1975 I think, and I have the documentation. Has just been fitted with new coil, points and condenser.
Car would benefit from talc and a good home. Underside is pretty sound apart from one outrigger that needs minor work for an MoT. Not many cars of this era provide a V6 engine with the practicality of a Scimitar for this kind of money. Fibreglass body avoids any rust worries.
