Provenance and Restoration
This E-Type underwent a full restoration by XK Engineering in the late 1980s and was subsequently purchased for over £70, 000—an indication of both the quality of the rebuild and the esteem in which the car was held. At the time of restoration, the vehicle had covered 52, 000 miles.
In 2000, it was acquired via auction, having only added a further 3, 000 miles. Since then, it has been sparingly used and meticulously cared for, with a further 25, 000 miles added over the last two decades. The vehicle has been continuously garaged and maintained to a high standard.
In recent months, the car has undergone a light mechanical recommissioning by SE Jags and a comprehensive professional valet, ensuring it is both cosmetically and mechanically prepared for its next custodian.
