Description
This Alfa Romeo 33 Sportwagon can certainly be called unique. The car was delivered new in 1988 by the Alfa Romeo Dealer in Geleen Limburg. Unique, of course, because the last owner, an Alfa enthusiast par excellence, decided to sell this car due to lack of space. We were happy to buy it, because an Alfa Romeo 33 Sports Wagon is already rare, but with this special, demonstrable history, this makes it a fantastic car for the Alfa enthusiast who wants something special. The car is technically in excellent condition and drives excellently, the 1. 3-litre boxer engine of course has that recognisable sound. On the outside, the car has some signs of use, but nothing disturbing for a car from 1988. The interior upholstery looks neat. The Alfa Romeo 33 is a compact car from the Italian brand Alfa Romeo. The 33 succeeded the Alfasud in the front-wheel-drive compact mid-size segment in 1983. The name 33 refers to Alfa Romeo's Tipo 33 racing cars in the 1960s and 1970s. In 1985, an estate wagon of the 33 was launched under the name 33 Giardinetta and offered a 4WD system. In 1987, the 33 got its first small facelift (Series II) and a 1712cc engine became available. The 4WD disappeared again and the station wagon's name changed to 33 Sportwagon.
