Description
This is a very rare example of a 1996 Mitsubishi Legnum VR4 2. 5 Twin Turbo 4WD with stock 260 BHP and the benefits and space of a huge estate boot.
It has a tiptronic automatic gearbox with a fantastic smooth gearchange with the option of manual.
It was imported from Japan in 2008 and has all of the relevant proof and documentation, including the original KM proof before being converted to MPH.
It has been in my careful ownership for over 10 years. It is a very solid, clean example that has been passionately cared for over this time which I hope is reflected in its condition and detailed list of service history ( please see image of list supplied ).
It had a recent Mot in April of this year with no advisories and has done very little mileage since.
During the ownership I have been a member of the Clubvr4 Forum which has supplied me with amazing guidance, knowledge, parts and help.
Any important mechanical work, including two big Cambelt/ timing belt and water pump change services in this time were professionally made by a very qualified senior mechanic who originally worked for Mitsubishi on these vehicles when they were first released.
Proof of this work along with a folder of receipts, documents and information will be supplied with the car. Over the 10 years I have added some cosmetic additions mainly from the Facelift version (arch extensions) to give it a more aggressive look.
Most of these items can be removed to stock as I will include all of the original parts which I have carefully kept in storage. Including headlights, carbon fibre engine cover, wing mirrors and even sun visors.( please see images attached) .
It also has genuine 17" ford mustang alloys fitted with custom caps. (Other alternative caps will be supplied)
The car is currently using an original stock exhaust which I had professionally fitted (which is great for quiet motorway miles) and cleverly adapted with a cut out valve to allow a louder experience if preferred :)
The Blue-flame Stainless steel exhaust which was originally on the car when purchased will also be included in the sale which is in excellent condition (Please see images)
It also has stainless steel down pipes fitted and will supply the original downpipes, still in great condition.
As the car is now 30 years old it will have some age related stone chips or marks so I would always recommend a thorough inspection so that you are 100% happy with its condition.
This will give me the opportunity to prove how well this car drives and sounds and that everything works as it should.
