Based near Worcester
£19, 995 ONOCurrent owner, my father, essentially been across this car since 1980 when it was only ten years old. It was sold in 1982 to another owner but it didn't go far as he was a pop star travelling the world. My father then bought it back from him in 1998 and has since done 22, 000 miles. He's happy to keep it but the dreaded age thing has got in the way which is life. I've (son of) given it some good running and love over the past two months with new carpet throughout, fresh oil, complete coolant flush x4 times, super unleaded and just good running in this good weather and that is where the car is now.

It's not a nut and bolt restoration but it not a pile either so it's in the middle.

The best bit? The sound of the engine that's actually got some go in it and the positivity in the gear shift that has no wobble in it whatsoever. The colour suits the era of the car and the green tinted windows work brilliantly with the yellow too. Also, the new carpet has lifted it up many rungs. Underneath its very tidy with no gremlins hence MOT to July 2026.

The worst bit? A bit of bubble on top of rear right wheel arch but that's a solder thing and can easily be tidied up. Tiny bit of bubble at the bottom of passenger door but I'd prefer to be transparent about this rather than slippery in selling a car...

I only landed on this planet after this car was made but it's a cool thing, a head turner and something I'd like to keep but... I just can't which is a real shame so I've done everything to the car as if I was going to keep it myself so it's ready for the next owner.
