More photos just added. Jump started today 24/ 08/ 25 and run for 1hr appears to be very slight leak of coolant as advised on mot engine sounded good coolant level. Not overheating . Rare high performance Rover ti 2 litre turbocharged 200bhp T series engine. 0-60 in 7 secs! Low mileage and good condition for year. Small fortune spent by previous owners including reconditioned turbo, cam belt change, new clutch to name 3 big expenses amongst others. Lots of history included. Interior in excellent condition apart from common headlining issues. Bodywork is very straight, paintwork is average for this age of vehicle with lacquer peel apparent on one wing and rear pillar but by no means bad. Body is very solid underneath, remarkable for this year. The near side rear arch has clearly had remedial work in the past and is as shown but apart from this there is very little rust. Mechanically the vehicle is good has current mot passed with advisories till Jan 26. All the issues. Could be sorted be sorted with a bit of time (which I don’t have) this is not a project car . Driven to me from Cambridge (owned by me 2 months ) I have only driven it up and down the drive. Was In daily use when bought in June . I sat in the car whilst previous owner drove it. I can confirm it pulled well in all gears road well on suspension. No untoward noises, sounded great . Stopped well no pulling to side. Tyres are all excellent. Previous owner was an enthusiast and spent a lot on it . Only selling because it was a bit of an impulse buy . I own two other rovers but have decided to sell two. I have another 600 and knew about these. The battery also seems a dud . Have jumped it but after running it doesn’t seem to hold charge. With a bit of work this is a £6k car I think . A bit of fettling for someone in the know or a new battery and you have a serviceable car . No silly offers please. Only selling because have too many cars . Final reduction , if it doesn’t sell for this I’m doing the work!
