Lovely MGB GT 1968 First registered 8th November 1968
GHD4 The revised MK1 with its original and more desired five bearing engine and overdrive gearbox. Excellent body and underside !
British Racing Green, black with white piping leather interior.
Straight forward restoration the engine has been completely rebuilt together with the gearbox, both were removed to allow the engine bay to be painted.
The MGB has had the underside completely stripped to bare metal, rust treated and repainted with tough durable paint. Most components have either been replaced with new or refurbished powder coated to a high standard.
This is an unfinished sympathetic nut and bolt restoration by its owner a retired engineer who has sadly passed. Every effort has been taken to take this once nice MGB GT and make it perfect !
All of the mechanics have been serviced and rebuilt as they should
The rear differential, prop shaft, brakes, front and rear suspension, gearbox, engine are all fitted and connected she rolls easily, the engine bay has been painted and looks extremely nice. All that is left to do is repaint the body which is stripped ready to go and then the exciting rebuild can commence.
The dashboard and clocks have all been totally restored and now back in the car, new black carpet set supplied.
This was a lovely MGB GT that was driven into the garage and then worked commenced to fully restore it to a high standard, all the parts should be there with additional new parts too.

This will be straight forward to complete and once painted one of the best!!
All of the really hard work has been done from this point it will be an enjoyable project just like building an airfix model.
