Magazine featured 1990 Mk. 2 Golf GTi, originally converted by GTE engineering to 2. 1L, 190bhp, with Mahle pistons, Shrick cams, reworked head etc
Now converted to regularity rally spec with EVO suspension , half cage bolted in, engine bay brace, infamous red steel wheels with Coopers, Brantz trip with two clocks and foot switch, Nav foot brace, Fire extinguisher.
Refreshed engine (oil pump, shells, etc). Fastidiously maintained, in superb condition, it’s only done a handful of HRCR rallies. Easily converted back to road spec. Magazines it featured in come with the car.
