Beautiful Riley 1 1/ 2 litre RME saloon.
Black andivory, wonderful all round condition with completely original and and almost unmarked green leather interior with extremely comfortable seating. Very solid chassis and immmaculate bodywork with perfect chrome. Everything working including original trafficators as well as modern indicators. Silent transmission with lovely 4 speed synchro gearbox. Engine is fine, starts and runs exceptionally well with good oil pressure and no smoke. Not exacctly sporting but handles immpeccably with excellent brakes and will cruise happily at or near the legal limit on the motorway. 4 nearly new tyres, spare unused, recent exhaust, personal number plate. Well sorted and ready for shows or classic runs. Attracts much attention. Just completed challenging Minehead Tour of Exmoor involving 260 miles on a very hot day with no problems at all, recording over 30 mpg. ULEZ and MOT exempt of course.
Ready for many more years of motoring, (unlike the owner which is the reason for sale.) valued at £9750 but must be sold so reasonable offers are invited. Most of its 64000 miles was recorded before 1986 when it apparently had a comprehensive body off restoration including woodwork before being exported to Jersey where it spent 25 years with only occasional use' probably as a wedding car, before being returned to the UK in 2015
