Manufactured Nov/ Dec 1955 and first registered 1956. The car was purchased privately by the current owner in 1990 and subject to a nuts and bolts restoration including bare metal respray, new interior and hood, new chrome work, stainless steel exhaust and professional engine overhaul. Dry garaged since 1993, with only occasional use, the car was most recently recommissioned by the MGOC Workshop in August 2024. The brake and clutch hydraulic cylinders and hoses, fuel pump and fuel lines, water pump, fan belt, heater valve and hoses were all replaced. A new battery and control unit was fitted and the electrics checked ok. The engine was fully serviced and tuned, including carbs stripped and serviced. Engine and gearbox oil was changed. The car required no further work for a voluntary MOT. An expert valuation of £21, 000 has been provided by MGOC. Includes tonneau cover, side screens (need some repair), original jack, starting handle and workshop manual. Overall, a very smart looking car, good starter and runner with no known faults other than a small chip in lower edge of windscreen (position is not MOT issue). The MGA Roadster retains iconic and sleek 50's style that still turns heads today.
