Description
This 1992 Honda CR-X Del Sol is a rare find for an enthusiast who appreciates Honda’s golden era of lightweight, driver-focused engineering. With its sleek lines, removable targa roof, and nimble handling, the Del Sol delivers a unique blend of coupe practicality and convertible fun. This Del Sol is perfect for someone looking to enjoy a retro Honda with some recommissioning to be done.
The cars MOT is valid under September 07, 2026. The body work is in good overall condition but has some peeling lacquer and paint defects to be remedied and a small corrosion issue by the driver side rear wheel arch. Everything seems to work as it should with the exception of the central locking and the roof lift system. I did have the roof system working as it should but it needs servicing and since then the electronic mechanism to lift the roof panel has stopped working (you can still remove the roof manually). The interior is in excellent condition with original Del Sol floor mats and it has a Pioneer DAB radio and CD player installed. I took it for a short drive before taking the photographs and it quickly settled down and ran smoothly. As can be seen from the MOT history it has had very little use in the last few years.
My late friend Vic bought this car as a retirement hobby but unfortunately he passed away before he could really get to enjoy it. The car hasn’t been used since, the MOT station being its longest journey as I am assisting with the sale of the car for my late-friend’s widow and would like to find an enthusiast who can give the car the time and attention it deserves.
