Rare Opportunity – Iconic British Motorcycle in Excellent Condition

On offer is a truly unique piece of British motorcycling history: the second ever customer registered Triumph Trophy 900 in the UK.
• Very Good Condition: The bike has been cared for with real attention to detail, maintaining its original character and charm. There have been some modifications made over the years, but in every instance the original parts have been kept and as a result could be re-fitted to the bike if desired. The alterations include later model handlebars and inner trim panels.
• A recent improvement made to the bike by the current owner has been to fit the renowned stick coils from Paul Messenger/ Mark Gaylard in order to future-proof the bike. The receipt and photographs of the work are all available. The original coils and HT leads are included with the bike.
• Comprehensive History File: Comes complete with a thorough history file, including original service record book and wiring diagram, HPI check dated August 2025, MOTs, and documentation tracing its provenance over many years. Included in this file is a letter from the dealer that supplied the bike new, the original bill of sale and other paperwork all in the original, branded ‘The Bike Studio’ folder. The number plate is also the original, branded ‘The Bike Studio’ plate fitted at first registration.

• Ready to ride, this Trophy 900 will not disappoint. The engine is strong and smooth, pulls like a 900 triple should do and is ready to ride anywhere.
• MOT record shows that the bike has been ridden 4000 miles since it’s most recent test in April 2025, with an expiry date of 29. 04. 2026, thereby showing that it is all-round excellent mechanical order and ready to ride wherever the owner chooses.
• There are very few cosmetic faults with the motorcycle, but it is not completely without insignificant marks. There are photographs that show the details and the overall condition of the motorcycle which can only be described as excellent overall.
• Tyres, chain and sprocket and all other consumables all in good/ excellent condition, the bike needs nothing other than a new caretaker.
• The engine starts quietly and runs without fault, the battery is recent and holds a good charge over a period of time. The charging system is likewise without fault, with strong charging at tickover as per manufacturer design.
