motodrome offer this utterly charming 1967 Mini Mark One (or Morris Mini Minor Mark One Super DeLuxe 850 Automatic, to give it it’s full title) , finished in Maroon with white roof and two-tone trim
A genuine late Mark One built in late 1966, this one is as per the Heritage Certificate that we hold for the car in terms of exterior colour and numbers etc, with the exception of the white roof which we think was added during a restoration at some point. .
Full ‘Super De Luxe’ spec including full carpeting, chrome trim, working Smiths heater etc, plus a period-style wooden dashboard
Odometer reading 28000 miles, although we’ve no way of telling if this is correct.
We sold this car to the last owner in 2021 and he’s used it for scooting around South West London for the last 5 years, and, apart from general servicing, carried out a good level of maintenance on it including, but not limited to

Interior refurbishment 2022
New starter motor 2023
Electronic ignition fitted 2024
Engine removed, reconditioned torque converter fitted, new head gasket, engine mounts, hoses and clips 2026
Whilst It’s MOT exempt now due to it’s age, the previous owner has kept up the MOT history and hence it’s currently MOT’d to November 2026, with no advisories.
A Mark One 850 auto is now exceptionally rare – most have been converted now to Cooper S replicas, but this one is true to it’s original mechanical spec.
When we last had the car in 2020/ 21, the then previous owner told us that the bodywork, engine, gearbox, subframes and suspension were all rebuilt or refurbished between 2013 and 2018.
The automatic gearbox makes it an absolute doddle to drive, especially in town. Alternatively it can be used as basically a clutchless manual, which liberates as much power as a standard-tune 850cc A-series can manage, but makes it very entertaining to drive.
