Description
With a heavy heart, I have decided to move my Fulvia 1600HF on to a new owner, but this is not a forced sale. Rather I have too many Classic cars needing time and attention and this MAY well be the one that will go as it is somewhat desirable. Attractively priced, it is a genuine U. K. RHD Car and is best described as project car, but a mild one, as it is in no way a ‘basket case’. Owned for 5/ 6 years and when purchased had sat under a cover for many years, but on inspection was reasonably in solid order and so it immediately went away for some (but not extensive) welding and a repaint in an early Lancia colour, Riviera Green. I changed the colour as it had been several colours previously and came with no history bar one old MOT certificate. The welding was to an MOT standard, no more or less and the repaint was a budget one, but included door shuts etc. And there the attention ceased and it has now been under a cover for 4/ 5 years and some small bubbles have appeared, but the body condition as is, would be highly ‘usable’ and you could move onto the mechanical recommissioning and interior work that it no doubt needs. Or start from scratch at this entry level project price……
Cannot guarantee the mileage, it was owned by a long term Lancisti/ Club member, but there is no history. Car turned over easily 5/ 6 years ago and I do not believe it has seized etc.
It is part dismantled, but a Grille is included and door handles/ hardware are included, as are front seats, but the rear seat has gone AWOL. Headlining needs replacement as was painted black some years ago (!) and is drooping a little, but a new correct one is supplied ready to fit. Dash has small cracks as is usual. Ignition keys are present-not certain about other keys, will have a look, but assume not included. From the factory, this HF has Aluminum Boot and Doors, but a Steel Bonnet, which has some rust to the under frame, No bumpers. Of course mechanically, it is 100% complete, with the 1600 engine in place and includes the oil cooler. Gearbox selects gears fine, so not seized etc.
So a mild project, or if you wish, a start from scratch undertaking, but priced accordingly at £14, 750. No offers please at this price.
Happy to show my HF in the flesh to interested parties.
More pictures are available-the blue car shown is the very same car and is as I purchased it. Pointless eulogising about the desireability of the Fulvia 1600HF Lusso, you will have read all about them.
