good overall condition, drives well, overdrive works. body work will need some attention at some point either as a rolling restoration or a refurbishment. its a solid car with superficial corrosion in the usual places. i have owned this vehicle for around a decade and have really enjoyed. i fitted
alloy wheels (off an LE) i kept the rostyles and they are
included in the price. i
also recently spent the best part of £2000 on a carb exchange and service !!! so
all in all its a bargain! there are
a couple of annoying gremlins, the fuel
and temp gauge's keep blowing their fuse and the wipers don't work! it needs a headlamp bulb (sealed beam unit) and the windscreen has a chip right in your eyeline! i have
covered around 20k in this car and will be sad to see it go. i was the third keeper. it was owned from the person before me for over thirty years. It has had front wings replaced at some
point and will need some remedial work at the lower windscreen area! or just leave it and enjoy it for what it is!
i have over the years fitted an electronic fuel pump, new water pump, new clutch mater and slave cylinders and pipe. and recent front brake callipers.
my preferred optioned would be that whoever buys it, keeps it as rubber bumper. they are becoming more rare as time goes by!please come and have a look around my car it is currently barn stored near Lingfield surry.
