1988 Porsche 924S Le Mans
One of 74 special edition cars released for the UK market as the 924 came to an end. 37 in black and 37 in white.
This vehicle drives very well and only 75, 000 miles on the clock. Recent work includes the all important timing belt, associated belts and a new water pump and thermostat. A couple of new radiator hoses and a new expansion tank cap. Also a load of little tidy up jobs like the extendable aerial and a few electrical gremlins now sorted.
Work carried out by Sam Lander Porsche Engineering in Malton. He commented how straight the chassis was and what good condition it was in.
After market radio with Bluetooth so play music from your phone and answer calls hands free.
Comes with the leather pouch for the removable sunroof.
The “924” number plate has been on the car since first registration, the original garage requesting it from the DVLA.
Comes with some history, including evidence of previous timing belt changes. A previous owner also got ownership details documenting the ownership up to 2018.
Bad points. Driver lock is on a separate key to the rest of the locks. Slight leak from the washer fluid. Maybe the pump, not investigated yet. Currently drained as only use in nice weather so washers generally not needed.
MOT until the 19th May 2026. No advisories and less than 1000 miles since so no reason why shouldn’t pass again (provided fill up washer fluid).
Only selling as now want to pursue other projects.
An extremely rare car that will only increase in value, much like all classic Porsches. Would love to keep but I am a nightmare, once I get something in my head.
There are a few niggles for the new owner to tidy up but generally in very good condition and ready to enjoy the summer.

I have only owned for 6 months as other projects and passions now need the money. It is a lovely car that gets attention everywhere it goes. There are still a few niggles to tidy up but this is reflected in the asking price.
