After 8 years of ownership I am selling my superb Sonic Blue Honda Civic EJ9 with the 1. 4i engine and 5 speed manual gearbox.
This has been by far one of the best reliable daily drivers I have ever owned.
It is in excellent condition throughout and always garaged throughout my ownership.
I upgraded the wheels very early on as I personally believe that the 15” Fan Blade alloys are truly iconic on a 3 door civic of this era.
They were professionally refurbished in 2021 and are still in pristine condition with excellent matching Vredestein tyres.
It comes with a large history file including service records from Honda and all MOT certificates from new.
It also has 2 sets of keys along with the rare red master key which is still sealed in its packet.
It had a new clutch in 2019 at 53k miles and the cambelt and water pump were changed in 2024 at 74k miles. The last service was carried out in September 2025.
It had a brand new battery fitted in 2025.
The current MOT expires on 18th September 2026. All the advisory work has been carried out totalling £648. Invoice is with the paperwork.
The car has always been in regular use and has been an absolute joy to own.
The underside was Lanoguard treated in 2024 and has received top ups each year since then. The wheel arches are in excellent condition as is the rest of the bodywork. Obviously the car is almost 28 years old so does carry some degree of patina for its age but really is exceptional considering this.
The interior is pristine and has the original Civic carpet mats.
All the electrics work perfectly.
This is a very reluctant sale after all these years due to a change in circumstances and I hope to find an owner who will appreciate just how special this car is. There aren’t many left as good as this one or in this beautiful rare colour.
