I am reluctantly selling my beautiful Ford Escort RS 2000, I am the 7th owner, having bought it from a fellow classic car enthusiast in 2018 who had sympathetically restored it to its current excellent state including replacing rear wheel arches and a full respray to an excellent standard. The RS has been garaged during the previous enthusiasts ownership and mine. There are many documents with MOT certificates, providing a service history for most of its life, including the original handbook and red key. The thermostat housing has only just been replaced along with both front brake disks and pads, rear brake drums, shoes, wheel cylinder and wheel bearing as well as a new alternator and drive belt. the MOT with no advisories is until December 2026The 3 door body style, Recaro cloth sport seats and tilt-and-slide sunroof all add to the period-correct feel of this 1990's ford icon which receives many positive comments at car shows I have attended.
