For sale: Simca “Étoile plus” 6V, RUSH engine. 5 main bearings. March 1962.
The paintwork, mechanicals, and interior trim are all original. Judging by the condition of the vehicle, the 24, 000 km it shows would appear to be original. It has its handbook, its certificate of conformity, and a spare set of keys.
Six years ago, the following items were renewed/ reworked:
- New brakes (master cylinder, wheel cylinders and flexible hose)
- New exhaust system
- Fuel supply (fuel pump and new hoses)
- Fuel tank cleaned and repainted
- New cooling system
- Charging circuit (battery, reconditioned dynamo and new regulator)
- 4 new tyres
- Re-chromed front and rear bumpers
- Tax disc (collection registration) / “carte grise” for classic
Runs without any issues; last MOT is clean/ blank. No corrosion was found on the last MOT. A new MOT will be carried out before sale.
The underside of the car has been cleaned, brushed and repainted (rare at this standard). The undersides of the wings have also been repainted on the original “blackson”.
