Description
Up for sale is a Range Rover Suffix A LHD with a three-digit chassis number. The vehicle is dismantled down to the bare bodyshell. The aluminium parts were chemically stripped and the rest was fine-sandblasted. No sheetmetal parts have been repaired but replaced as a whole. Engine, steering gear and axles are completely overhauled. All bolts are zinc-plated and engine components polished. The frame is unwelded and has only been blasted, primed and painted. Which speaks for a good starting basis. The chassis was assembled with new original springs (no aftermarket springs). The car is largely complete. The last pictures show the condition before the start of the restoration. I bought the car in early 2000 and shortly afterwards sold it to a collector. After about twenty years in the garage I have reclaimed the Rover and started the restoration.
