White 1972 MG Midget MK III, 10 previous owners, with long service history paperwork both since I have owned the vehicle and previously. I purchased vehicle privately in Devon 2018. It is a convertable , with square wheel arches, a Historic Vehicle with a British Motor Industry Heritage Trust Certificate.
The vehicle runs well, with a new heavy duty Napa Battery recently fitted this year, tyres in good contition, I have had the car serviced at least yearly since I have owned it. The vehicle was a daily use vehicle, not a show vehicle.
In the time I have owned this vehicle I have had various things done, including Ivor Searle ReCon engine - July 2023 (mileage when engine fitted 43339, mileage now 46372 so a total of 3033 miles since engine fitted), new Clutch - July 2023, Full Wiring Harness from Autosparks - Jan 2023, Gearbox - exchange unit - Aug 2021, New Windscreen - Oct 2020, Carbs - Nov 2024, Tuned - April 2025, Stainless Steel Exhaust custom made for car - Aug 2025, Shock Absorbers OSR/ NSR and New Horns both - June 2025, Brakes and Seat Runners Drivers side - Sept 2025. I have all paperwork regarding these.
I have also had the floor welded and a plate put in last year. I have also had both bumpers replaced and seat belts, over the years.
Hood is fully functional, however with the opening and closing of this the back quaterlight have cracked and need replacing, which we were looking into having these sealed as they tend to crack with use and have been replaced before by me.
Internally tidy and clean.
There is also a CD/ Radio fitted, which works.
The bodywork on the car needs attention which you can see by pictures, and would have been the next project however we no longer have the facilities (garage) to do this, along with my age and health issues preventing me being able to do the work needed, and getting in and out of this lovely vehicle
I have had things done to the vehicle from the inside out. I bought this classic as I owned a 1968 MG Midget previously which due to circumstance I had to sell it, and I always said I would get another MG Midget hence this one. It has square wheel arches, which make it a little rarer, chrome bumpers which stand out, it is a convertable. I enjoy driving a car that is a classic.
