Description
The Triumph TR6SC is a famous 1960s British motorcycle built for the American market. Known as a "desert sled," it featured a powerful 649cc engine and high-mounted exhaust pipes. Built for rugged dirt racing, it is best known as the bike Steve McQueen rode in off-road races. Very few of these bikes survived the desert, so this is indeed a rare bike.
I bought this bike a number of years ago and had it fully restored using original parts. Since then it has only been used as a show bike. All of the numbers match; frame, engine, crank cases. The bike has a dating certificate from the Triumph owners club, so can be registered with DVLA.
