A beautiful, very unique and one of the best examples of a Lotus Eclat 2. 2 Litre (2 series) English sports car from 1980. Engine has been rebuilt, using original Lotus parts. A wonderful car for a motoring enthusiast. It corners like it's on rails and is wonderfully fun to drive. The Lotus engine makes a wonderful noise, and weighs only 980 kgs due to the fibre glass body, making it fast. It is one of the classic 80's wedge profiles. I bought it because of its wonderful condition, its lipstick red colour and because it has back seats versus the Espirit. I believe its increasing rarity will make it valuable for a collection. Finally, it puts a smile on everyone's face, not just your own, as you drive by!
