Description
12 months MOT - sailed through no issues and just serviced.
Taken in PX so now for resale. Would love to keep it as it drives fantastic, very sporty and nimble but I have too many vehicles so it has to go.
ONLY 24600MLS Genuine Mini Cooper S-Works in BLACK with white roof, bonnet stripes and mirrors. This mini was supplied new by John Cooper Garages with a very high specification making it very rare and collectable. This included the S conversion bringing the power up to 85 BHP plus the handling pack with 165 width tyres and Koni shock absorbers for additional stability and road holding. Externally it was finished off with red Cooper badges on the wheels plus a badge on the boot lid. As part of the conversion it had a maniflow twin exhaust system. Internally it has John Cooper and alloy door furniture, signed volts, clock and oil pressure gauges. The works gear knob, alloy John Cooper door step plates and numbered conversion plaque finish off the interior detail. This mini has been serviced by John Cooper Garages 5 times and after the garage closed by John Coopers ex chief mechanic who has known the car from new. John Cooper was famous for his quirky number plates. It has always been garaged from day one until now. The genuine John Cooper Garage cars are the most desirable cars as unfortunately he is no longer with us, or his garage, making this piece of mini history even more special. Rarely found in this original condition. ONLY 24600 MLS, VERY RARE NARROW BODY.

Hi Paul
Thanks for the email. We had the car in register on the S Works conversion, although we did have it logged as an S Works car, so thanks for filling in some of the gaps in our data.
This car is one of just 528 right hand drive Cooper Classic Mini made in the final year of production.
This one was the 124th produced out of those 528, with a build date of 29th March 2000.
Overall, this car is the 4695th last Mini made (all of variants).
I do not have a final answer of how many Cooper Classics were converted to S Works specifications from new, we have 9 on record, and I do not think it will be many more than that.
Hope that is of interest, and thanks again for emailed us.
