Owned by me for 15 years.
Mechanical overhaul by L’Atelier de la 2CV in Grasse in 2013. New engine and gearbox fitted. 10000 kms since new engine.
Complete body restoration by L’Atelier de la 2CV in Grasse in 2016.
Excellent condition. I bought this 2cv in 2011 to use at our holiday house in the South of France.
Originally a 2cv4, I had a 602cc engine installed in 2013 as part of a complete mechanical overhaul. The car has only covered 10000kms on this new engine and gearbox.
In 2016 I had the car restored changing the colour from beige to the much more attractive jaune rialto and having the brown targa seats reupholstered in a subtle blue tartan cloth. The chassis did not require replaced. The paintwork and floors remain excellent.
The car has had very gentle use at our holiday house covering only 12000kms in 15 years. It is dry stored in our garage and very regularly serviced by L’Atelier de la 2cv in Grasse. It had five new Toyo tyres three years ago and a new battery last year.
The CT was 12 months ago and this will be renewed prior to sale.
