Description
1980 Triumph TR7 Drop Head Coupe.
The car is very sound having had an extensive rebuild some 30 years ago. The main items being new front wings, front headlamp panel and the lower body sills. The car then had a full respray and wax oil treatment. The car has always been dry stored ever since. I have not used the car as much as I would have liked which is the reason for selling.
The car runs smoothly and very nicely.
The bodywork is still in a reasonable tidy condition but obviously after 30 years there are the odd stone chips and very minor rust marks.
The engine is fitted with electronic ignition and starts instantly from cold.
The car is fitted with Dolomite Wheels with new tyres.
There is a roll over bar included which requires a coat of paint and fitting to the car.
A new hood cover is included but again needs fitting to the car. The original has a rust stain.
There are just a few other spare parts included.
The car is not concourse but could be quite easy to bring up to a high standard. The engine compartment being the worst part of the car which is quite shabby.
Unfortunately the headlights are now not working, I think it's just the headlamp switch as the lamps do not raise up or light up.
I am open to offers but please do not offer something that I will
obviously reject.
Nothing really to comment about, but happy to answer any questions. Everything about the car is mentioned above.
