Description
1998 model, sold new in the UK and imported to Sweden in 2008, I bought the car in 2022. The car is immaculate, zero rust and exceptional paintwork. It comes with most original parts and could be used for shows or as an investment. The car is road legal and has almost a year on the inspection.
The car has been modified with no expense spared and has lived in a climate controlled garage until recently and was last used properly in 2023. The car was fully serviced in 2023 with new oil (Motul v300 competition), filter, hks plugs, brake fluid, gearbox, diff and coolant. It was modified extensively in 2023 with much of the work completed by Autogruppen in Sweden. The car is currently running a reliable 663whp and over 770wnm, with switchable maps depending on driving conditions.
There are a vast number of receipts and almost all original parts including bonnet, trunk, front bumper, lights, spoiler, trim etc.
The car has covered approximately 42, 000miles (69, 000km).

Back in the early 2000s I saw a gleaming white Evo IV pass me in the city centre late at night, drifting with a white 200SX. I had never seen something so aggressive before in my life, and fell in love immediately. I became obsessed, and every other word started in E and ended in vo. I was in my early 20s at the time, the PS1 was the console to have, and Gran Turismo had just launched. I bought the game purely so I could own that white Evo IV…A few months passed and I visited a local dealer looking for the same car, just to get a fix, but the dealer instead showed me a freshly imported silver Evo V and I could not believe how they had somehow managed to make the car even more outrageous, and I knew right then, when I got the opportunity, I wanted a silver V.
Life, as life often does, got in the way and even though the desire for a silver V never left me, I ended up owning a string of other vehicles, from TVRs to Radicals instead as I never found a silver V that met the standard of that dealer car. So, fast forward over 20 years and I’d almost forgotten about the Evo, until I saw a white Evo V on the street, and all the memories came immediately back to me and the hunt was on to find a car.
After months of searching, the car you see here was offered to me from an individual to the North of Sweden. It was too far to travel to view the car and drive it home, so I took a chance that it was as good as he claimed and bought it! A week later, the car arrived on a trailer and I was blown away at the condition, he hadn’t lied at all. It reminded me exactly of that silver car in that north of England dealership all those years ago.
My first drive (it has a built engine at that point and around 500whp) transported me back to the late 90s, early 00s when cars like this were becoming commonplace, the sound, the smell, the character, JDM cars of this era are like nothing else. After a few years of happy ownership, I decided to make it more ‘me’ and began to modify it further to the car you see here. I spent months researching every part, every detail, knowing exactly the vision I had. I chose only the best parts, from the best manufacturers and over a few years, the car was transformed. Everything has been turned up to 11, with the map switched to ‘race’ and a heavy right foot unleashing 662whp, she will assault your senses in every possible way and leave you smiling for hours after the turbo timer has cut the ignition. Drive her gently though, and you can equally take a relaxed trip to the mall or for the weekly groceries!
I have a very special connection to this car and Evos of this era in general, and in truth I don’t want to part with it as I know I’d never find another in this condition or spec. But with the fact I’m selling the rest of my fleet, I have come to accept that, much like with my other cars, I don’t have the time for her and can’t just hold on any more for the sake of it. My time with cars seems to have passed after over 30 years and new interests have taken over.
I will only sell the car to someone I feel comfortable with and someone who I feel will care for the car as I have.
