1973 Land Rover lightweight restomod
this is my 1973 lightweight which has been tastefully restored with full galvanised chassis fully restored bulkhead and 200di (200tdi non turbo) and parabolic springs on all corners
good tires and wheels all round
this was my daily driver for a year and a half which I used with no problems in that time its done trips to Scotland and around the lakes without missing a beat
it benefits from led lights all round and road legal led headlights not horrible halo ones
the restoration was a few years ago now but its in a very usable condition and will do 60 if you push it but likes to sit at 55 on the motorway its always been serviced every 6 months due to the nature of using it every day
the interior is the only thing that lets it down being a bit tatty and a mix of other Land Rover seats
its tax and mot exempt and the chassis has has got the original vin stamped on it and the v5 has the correct size engine for the swap and the rebuild note for the chassis so its not a ringer
