Finished in it's gorgeous Black & Gold livery this "Special Edition" DAYTONA is Triumph at their best back in 1998 & not only drop dead looks BUT pretty rapid too together with 6 pot calipers to stop you!
Offered with only 20, 000 miles from new in 100% original factory specification (even down to original Dealer number plate) and great condition throughout - I'm pretty sure you won't find another like this in a very long time.
The 1st owner who most definitely cherished it, kept if for the first twenty one years (clocking up 19, 000 miles of its 20k!) & then the 2nd custodian who bought it in 2019 basically stored it I'm assuming as an investment until selling in 2024 when it had a full recommission to include the usual suspects of carbs/ forks/ brakes/ battery/ fuel tap & a new rear shock & obviously full service. He then sold to the 4th owner who has hardly ridden due to old injuries & I have just spent 2 days detailing it to what you see now (bit more to do tomorrow)
The bike has great history with lots of service invoices etc., almost every old MOT, owners manual, 2 keys and as you can see really is in excellent condition with only the most minor of marks consistent with original paintwork and being nearly 30 years old. Starts and runs beautifully & I hope to take it for my test ride tomorrow.
I cannot believe just how original it is right down to the rubber strip on top of the screen, all original decals, even the rubber bungs at the bottom of the forks and great condition original black chrome exhausts, even the original number plate & mirrors.

Just for clarity I am semi-retired sourcing/ buying/ selling/ collecting a few nice bikes from home and so the bike is not put in my name keeping the total previous owners down to a very low 4.
