A garage find Rover saved from the brink. Supplied new by BMG Rover of Milton Keynes on the 22nd of November 1997 to Merryworth LTD of Hanover Street London. Finished in White Gold Pearlescent with a Barley leather interior complimented by Walnut veneers. With stamped service book up to 53, 500 miles and now offered with c. 70, 000 miles on the odometer.
This Rover 825 was rescued from a lockup in Nottinghamshire as a garage find approximately 15 months ago. Since acquisition, we have performed a comprehensive mechanical service including fresh engine oil, flushing of the fuel system, fresh fuel, a new timing belt, and a new water pump. This work was completed in June 2026 and the car has been driven a few miles since completion.
Unfortunately, due to other projects getting in the way, we have not used the car since then and as such a fault has developed causing the immobiliser to cut the car out shortly after startup. We are actively attempting to rectify this prior to the sale. The car is therefore being offered as a project for finishing with lots of the hard work done.
As can be seen, the cosmetics aren't perfect and the Rover will want an exhaust and tyres as a minimum to pass an MOT. Structurally, it appears solid.
