In fair condition for its age. Has been in storage for the past few years with only occasional use and trips to and from the MOT station.
The bodywork and paintwork are very good apart from the roof panel. The whole car was resprayed in 2005 and now the paint on the roof and the A-pillars has started to crack. There is a scuff on the left corner of the front bumper and the waist line trim has shrunk in places. Since the photos were taken the fuel cap lock broke so it now has a temporary locking cap fitted.
Mechanically it is very good, drives well and has just been through the MOT. The engine bay is very tidy.
The interior is the problem and definitely needs attention as the seat leather has dried out and split in places and the headlining has started to sag. The rear seat back leather came apart so it currently has a cover fitted. The dashboard leather has dried out on the passenger side and has come away. The sun visors are not currently fitted as the material came off completely. On the plus side the carpets, door cards, rear side panels and centre console are still in good condition.
I have owned the car since 1998 but have hardly used it in the last few years. Sadly I have realised I am never going to get around to sorting out the problems so need to find it a new home before it deteriorates further.

A very useable car that is still great to drive. It needs some attention to get it looking really nice again. Would suit someone who loves Lotus and is looking for a project.
