Welcome to the sale of my Peugeot 309 GTi, I bought the car in June 2024 from the very south of England, the car crossed the country trouble free to the NW of Scotland and has been used very little since hence the sale due to lack of use. Currently the car has covered just over 73, 900 miles and has six previous keepers.
The car is in great condition and is very original until you open the bonnet, it was converted to a 3. 0 V6 (ES9J4) by a previous owner. I have the donor car logbook and service history (Citroen Xantia) for the engine. The engine really suits this car and it drives great. The conversion has been carried out to a very high standard and everything works as it should. There is a custom stainless exhaust installed which has a very subtle sound to it making longer journeys comfortable.
It has just received an advisory free MOT and is good to go, since June 2024 it has had an oil & filter change, new spark plugs, new outer CV boots, both strut top mounts changed, new front fog lamps and full Lanogard underbody treatment.
The car has previously had an underbody restoration and rear axle refurbishment so is very clean and presentable underneath. Cam belt was changed in 2022.
Interior is in good overall condition with no rips or tears on the Goodwood leather. Sunroof in working order and headlining in good condition with no sagging etc. Electric windows work as does the heater controls etc. A Sony CD head unit is fitted. Original Goodwood MOMO steering wheel fitted. It doesn’t have the original Goodwood gear knob but its not something that has bothered me enough to source one.
There is only one key and unfortunately no original manual/ service book although there are plenty receipts as a record of parts bought. As always with a car of this age there are some very light scratches etc on the bodywork, I can detail these in photos if needed. The dashboard clock isn't working, the fuel cap remote lever doesn't open the fuel cap from inside the car and one of the rear window levers isn't working either. Never got round to sorting these items.
