Description
1992 Peugeot 309 Goodwood – Rare French Hot Hatch
A rare opportunity to acquire a Peugeot 309 Goodwood in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition. One of the more distinctive special editions from Peugeot’s early-1990s hot hatch era, the GTi based Goodwood comes in unique Pine Green metallic paint with a full leather interior using unique seats (not just recovered standard GTi units), unique Goodwood track badging and a genuine wood steering wheel and gear knob. This car also comes with the rare OEM 6 disc CD changer.
Introduced in 1991, the Peugeot 309 Goodwood was a limited-edition model that combined the practical 309 hatchback with a more sporting character and exclusive detailing. Named after the famous Goodwood motor racing circuit, it remains an appealing choice for enthusiasts of classic French performance cars.
Now over 30 years old, the Goodwood offers a reminder of an era when Peugeot built cars with genuine character and an engaging driving experience. Its relative rarity makes it an interesting alternative to the more familiar contemporary hot hatches, and surviving examples are of particular interest to marque enthusiasts and collectors.

Summary
A rare and characterful Peugeot special edition from the early 1990s, the 309 Goodwood represents an increasingly interesting chapter in French automotive history.
An opportunity for the Peugeot enthusiast, classic hot hatch collector or anyone looking for something a little different from the usual classics.
I have always loved french hot hatches and when younger I had 309s but couldn't stretch to what was then a nearly new car. 30 years later and I searched for the right Goodwood and purchased this car. I have enjoyed the ownership but with another 309 GTi in the collection and my ever wondering eye caught by another 80s classic the Goodwood needs to find a new home.
Its a great car for shows and Car and Coffee events as in a world of 205 GTis and later Rallyes it really stands out and gets a lot of attention
