Very nice 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback with a 4. 7 / 289 CI engine
below is what has been done to the vehicle:
Mods before import:
- Front vented discs: FORD Granada V8
- 4-into-1 exhaust headers ******
- Dual exhaust system 2. 5 inch diameter
- Torq Trust D alloy wheels 14 inch
- MSD electronic ignition (digital module 6A, distributor and coil)
Post-purchase:
- Replaced rear wheel cylinders, front caliper seals and front pads. Full system flush and upgrade to DOT 5. 1 silicone
- Performance ignition harness
- Top Loader 4-speed gearbox with new clutch
- Mechanical overhaul: mains/ rod bearings, valves, oil pump, hydraulic lifters, pushrods, all seals, water pump, complete stripping of cylinder heads, resurfacing of mating faces and machining of valve seats, cooling radiator, …
- Battery replacement
- 4 KYB shock absorbers + 1 inch lowering kit
- Complete rear axle rebuild: bearings, differential seals and wheel seals + adjustments
- Front suspension dialled in on the bench
