1968 Ford Mustang Fastback Restomod 351 V8 4-Speed Manual. Finished in black with a bespoke dark brown interior, complemented by American racing wheels and a Shelby style hood. This Mustang has been subject to a comprehensive restoration with carefully considered upgrades.
Powered by a custom-built 351 V8 featuring modern fuel injection, mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. Further mechanical upgrades include Power Steering, Wilwood 6-pot front disc brakes and Wilwood 4-pot rear disc brakes, Vintage Air air conditioning, and a full digital dashboard. A particular highlight of this car is the interior, which has been designed and fabricated as a bespoke, one-off commission. The brief was to bring the cabin into the present day while remaining faithful to the original Mustang design language. This has been achieved through subtle revisions to shapes and detailing, twin stitching in place of traditional piping, and the use of high-quality materials including Alcantara and leather, creating a finish best described as ‘Factory Plus’.
Every interior panel has either been re-designed and re-fabricated, or fully stripped and retrimmed in Alcantara and distressed dark brown leather. The car is fitted with a discreetly integrated Rockford Fosgate audio system throughout, with speakers hidden behind Bang & Olufsen grilles. A retrofitted B&O dashboard tweeter has been incorporated to operate in conjunction with the modern system and sits flush within the centre of the dash.
Additional interior features include an Apple MagSafe wireless charging dock integrated into the centre console, along with a illuminated Breitling clock and 3 point seatbelts.
A thoughtfully executed Fastback that retains the essence of a late-1960s Mustang while offering a level of finish, comfort and detail rarely seen.
