Description
1983 Renault 5 GTL 3-door, type R1227, 1. 1 Cléon engine. 4-speed manual gearbox. Of Portuguese origin, it was bought from a professional in 2021 who took care of the paintwork and various components (tank, rear suspension, shock absorbers, new starter motor, etc.). It was naturalised in France with CG Collection registration (FFVE certificate in my possession).
It has 195, 400 km on the clock (which is still changing) and is always kept dry in the garage. Since I took possession of the car, many parts have been changed (non-exhaustive list): fuel pump, radiator, cooling hose, bleeding and draining of all fluids and change of consumables (tyres, spark plugs, belts, battery, brake pads), platinum-plate screw condenser, suspension ball joint, gearbox support, neimann, etc. The CT at the end of April 25 is OK and virtually clean, with only the presence of a little non-perforating corrosion on the chassis noted as a minor defect.
The interior is in very good condition, with no stains or holes in the upholstery and the original Renault carpet. With the exception of the windscreen, all the windows are original. Double set of original keys, owner's manual (in Portuguese) and radio. An enthusiast's car with an incredible amount of sympathy, which gives as much pleasure to drive as it does to other road users, I am selling it to finance another 4-wheeled project.
