Description
For sale: Rover P5 3. 0 Litre, August 1964 model, one of the great British prestige saloons of the 1960s. The P5 represented Rover’s flagship and was widely used as an official vehicle, prized for its comfort, build quality and understated elegance. This example is black with a red leather interior and red carpets, a rare and very stylish combination. The car is complete and original, fully assembled, with no missing or broken parts, making it an excellent restoration project. The bodywork shows no signs of rust and the vehicle has been kept in a garage. The paint and chrome will need a full refresh, this is reflected in the price. The interior is in good original condition: seats free of tears, carpets lightly worn and wood trim complete, requiring only cosmetic treatment. Equipped with a 3. 0-litre inline-six engine and a manual gearbox, a highly desirable configuration. The vehicle has not yet been started up, but it ran before it was laid up around two years ago. A serious Rover P5—authentic and with strong potential for value after restoration.
